History on the Sound

Culper Spy Day aboard the Liberty Clipper

Liberty Clipper.jpg

There are some stories that can only be told from the water.

This Culper Spy Weekend, the Three Village Historical Society & Museum and Tri-Spy Tours invite you aboard the Liberty Clipper for an intimate evening celebrating Long Island's Revolutionary history on the waters that helped shape it.

As the schooner glides across Long Island Sound at sunset, you'll experience history in a way few ever do. Enjoy thoughtfully selected wines, signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres from Elaine's Restaurant, and an engaging presentation by historian Margo Arceri, whose storytelling will transport you back to the days when these same waters carried secret messages for General George Washington's intelligence network.

Throughout the evening you'll also have opportunities to meet Revolutionary re-enactors, capture memorable photographs aboard this magnificent vessel, and take home a curated gift bag commemorating the experience.

This is an elegant evening designed for those who appreciate exceptional experiences, meaningful history, and the rare opportunity to see Long Island's Revolutionary story from an entirely new perspective.
