Long Island University, “Digitizing Local History"
A generous five-year grant from the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation enabled the Palmer School of Library and Information Science at Long Island University to digitize local history materials in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The $1.5 million grant provided fellowships for master’s and doctoral students to assist with the project. The Three Village Historical Society is honored to participate as one of 44 historical organizations.
